Imprisoned in his own weaponry by the very mortals he held control over after they were given the knowledge to defeat him by the ASPECT OF TWILIGHT, AATROX now desperately seeks for a way to end his suffering. Over CENTURIES of searching, taking new mortal hosts, to no avail, he came to the desperate conclusion that the only way to truly free himself was to DESTROY reality in the hope that he will take himself with it. So now, his brutal carnage looks for beings far more ancient than him for the answer, to the very GODS of the land and stars themselves.AATROX will find a way to lift this CURSE.

PRESENT RUNETERRA, CURSED TO WALK THE WORLD IN STOLEN FLESH AND CARRY HIS OWN PRISON, Aatrox is dead set on breaking the curse on his kin and himself. And after this lifetimes-long search across the land, he now turns his attention to the heavens. He strives to bring the sky down upon everything and everyone, using his defeated mortal foes to strengthen himself to complete such a task. He no longer cares for Why he was cursed, he only wishes to bring his suffering to an end.

VERSE 2; human
AFTER A CHANCE ENCOUNTER WITH THE ASPECT OF THE MOON, MOONFALL REVERSED WHAT WAS CREATED BY THE SUN. Without an aspect to revert the body to, the effect of moonfall removed the ascended powers of Aatrox and left him with a mortal body similar to the one he once had eons ago. Confused and ripped from his goal of complete destruction of the world, Aatrox now must struggle with the idea of being mortal, and what that means in this day and age.

VERSE 3; odyssey
AATROX IS A VIOLENT AND NOTORIOUS CRIME LORD WHOSE NAME IS FEARED THROUGHOUT THE CRIMINAL UNDERWORLD. He is also disfigured by Ora abuse. Seeking to purge the substance from his body, he abducts Templars to extract it... and kills them when they are unable to do so. He has seized a number of high ranking Templar priests in order to draw out Karma, who he believes will finally heal him.
